Being a dentist allows me to touch people’s lives in a way I never thought possible. Seeing the smiles, the gratitude, the joy when pain is removed and a smile restored, means everything!
I truly care about each person who comes to our office, on a professional and – even more important – personal level. I strive, every day with every person, to provide exceptional, personal, and comfortable care so that dentistry no longer causes anxiety. I want everyone who leaves our office to do so with a smile, looking forward to seeing us again.
For me, dentistry is more than fixing teeth and addressing dental disease: it’s about connecting with wonderful people and building relationships. While I’m passionate about helping patients achieve healthy smiles, I’m just as passionate about learning who they are and about their lives.
Each person who steps through our doors has a story to tell and experiences to share. Our conversations broaden my world and make me a better person and dentist.

Each year I complete many hours of continuing education. This allows me to provide patients with the highest-quality care, using advanced techniques. Dentistry is constantly evolving and new technological developments, along with materials and methodologies, improve care and results. My patients deserve the best and continuing education ensures I deliver.
During the year I attend multiple conferences, seminars, and lectures. I’ve studied endodontics (root canal therapy), dental implants and restorations, and cosmetic dentistry. Learning from leading practitioners and researchers is invaluable to providing the best care.

Beyond the Practice
I’m a local boy who grew up in Dayton. Now I live in Reno with my wife, Allison, who’s our office manager. She’s also a Dayton native. We don’t have any children but do share our lives with one very spoiled chocolate lab, Leila.
I enjoy snowboarding at Mt. Rose during the winter and spending time at Lake Tahoe in the summer. I also enjoy exercising and love home cooking projects, especially BBQ and using my smoker.
